EV Global Motors 24V EBIKE - need schematics, repair docs, parts lists, batt pack build assistance

Hi (My first post here, too...)

It looks like I may get my hands on an EV Global Motors 24V EBIKE shortly.
It has no batteries, the front brake assembly is missing parts,
and may have controller or hub issues...

Where can I find:
A) Schematics (exp hub and controller!)?

B) A parts breakdown (exploded view, etc.), so I can determine what I need?

C) Some data on the original missing batteries (cells, drawings, or whatever),
so I can create replacement packs that fits the chassis?
(Alternately, a source for maybe Li-Ion or Li-Iron-Phosphate battery packs that'll fit this model...)

D) Sage advice on what to DO with this model to optimize it
...(like convert it to another controller, how to change it to 36V without frying anything, etc...)

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
- Keith Mc.

Re: EV Global Motors 24V EBIKE - need schematics, repair ...

If you have not bought it, DON'T. It is an ophan, hard to get parts for. It is also the caddilac of ebikes. Has many bells and whistle, that can fail and hard to repair.

If you got it. Look on the net for battries, I found some for 10 bucks a pc. You put (6) 6 volt battries in the orginal case. Look on the net how to wire in 36v series.

As to the front brakes good luck. The controller is simple and can be replaced. You will have to rewire.

My advice, if you got it, fix it it and sell it quick.
I got 300 for mine, I sold it on CL. You get more on eBay.

If you did not buy it, then thank you lucky stars.

Stay aware from ophan bikes, money pits, and lots of trouble.

Good luck

Don't buy any futher away than you can drive to and return it.
