Have only read a few post here and there on the site about vectirx. I do wonder though, did the company have issues with their battery packs so far as how they track individual cell pack current as well as issues concerning recharging methods? Do not mean to bash the company and wish it and owners well. Just wondering though if they missed the mark on those two things and they reopen doing the same thing then would that be a good thing really? Fun riding scooter and local shop has a by one get one free believe it or not on the vetrix (all 2008 or 07 models). Guess I just wonder if they did open up shop again if the scooter would even be worth considering if one would have battery issues down the road.
Ride safe and enjoy your rides. Do hope the company can recover somehow and maybe improve upon the battery pack design/monitoring/charging....if those things are needed that is.

Unfortunately, Vectrix has no cells balancer. It has 102 cells, so the balancer would be very costly.
I just got the new software, so I can't comment about how good it is until I ride enough, but theoreticaly it's much better than the old software, which had to low discharge cut-off voltage and to high charge cut-off voltage. The new software also cools down the battery before it starts to charge. The old software didn't do that, which caused the battery pack to be charged still hot.
