LOOKING FOR A 4KW MAX HUB MOTOR AND POWER TRAIN WITH 10 INCH WHEEL

Hi all im a newby here, i come across this site and found alot of your comments very helpfull but i need some help please.
i am looking for a 4kw hub motor and disk or smaller that comes with a 10 inch wheel and power train it will be pulling a maximun weight of 300kg, normal speed will be between 5 -10 mph and maximum of 25 mph, i would be realy great full for all your input on this matter many thanks Carlos Mendez in uk

Out of curiosity what do u need it for?

from your description of low speed and only 300kg I would have thought u could use a 1500w or 2kw hub motor off a scooter. I sold one last year and only got £180 for the bike which was in full working conditon, some dont go that expensive if u look on ebay.
The one I had was 1500w from 48v 40ah SLA's, but pulled 3kw peak, and could definately pull 300kg at 25mph because me and my pillion passenger were neary 100kg each and it flew with us both on!

Alternatively if u want to make a small car use two hub motors on the back wheels - just an idea?

Many thanks for your info, has anyone used Curtis controllers before and if so what do you think of them. The concept of my small cart is for going around the lakes with bait, so that it is quiet and i don’t upset the fisherman. Because my quad is to noisy
