Politics controls the society-wide decisions that drive choices that control the vehicles we have available or are allowed to build.

Well now that he's in office, I was wondering about how high on the list all the alternated/renewable energy stuff was on Obama's priorities. Does anybody have a solid feel for that. He was too vague during the campaign and has yet to really come up with anything solid on the subject. Is he going to push this, or was it just campaign rambling?

Looks like the weather may allow me to ride the BE MC to vote tomorrow. A warm front is moving through. Most of the recent mornings have been in the mid 20's F. Call me a whimp, but I don't ride the MC if the temp is below 40 F.
Happy Voting.

Bush Team Rushes Environment Policy Changes
As the U.S. presidential candidates sprint toward the finish line, the Bush administration is also sprinting to enact environmental policy changes before leaving power.
Whether it's getting wolves off the Endangered Species List, allowing power plants to operate near national parks, loosening regulations for factory farm waste or making it easier for mountaintop coal-mining operations, these proposed changes have found little favor with environmental groups.

Before launching his campaign, Obama was doing a podcast (which I used to listen to). This sounds exactly like the style of those podcasts which was simply him talking like this.

I'm shocked.. David Ickes has for over 20 years been researching and exposing how the government(s) and businesses are being manipulated to a global elite agenda. It's odd to think of him as running for Parliament and becoming part of the system he's been exposing for decades.
Anyway, here's a nearly 3 hr video of him talking to voters and giving a very interesting outline of the control system being foisted on us.
David Icke speaks to the constituents of Haltemprice and Howden about the 'Big Brother' election, forced by the resignation of David Davis, and the move towards the global Big Brother enslavement we are all facing.
FWIW I don't agree with everything he's saying but I've read several of his books, seen him speak a couple times, and do think the general thrust of his message is right on. This doesn't have a lot (directly) to do with EV's except that what keeps us from having EV's is partly because of the control mechanisms he talks about.
