Ebike Acceleration Test Video

Just shot this a couple hours ago. It should work on any machine with flash 8 or later, but if it doesn't, here's the less well compressed: windows media version

As you can hear in the vid, I'm playing catch-up to my cold, running nose. Sniffle, sniffle...

Thanks, and a couple of goodies

Not too long ago, before the web site crash, I posted an inquiry about the Giant Suede E bicycle. I got some good advice, and as a result made what I think is the right purchase.

For my wife, who has arthritic knees, I purchased a Phoenix 3640 Brute system. With all the emphasis on extra power and speed, I thought some of you might be curious to hear more about this system.

Wondering if someone could start a wiki page on how to build a high end e-bike

Anyone want to start one? I'm starting to build interest in building a high end e-bike. Can I suggest using a site such as wikibooks: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Main_Page
Perhaps here is a place to start a chapter: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Bicycles/Modifications
If someone starts one I will add content to it, such as cost of options for batteries.

Thanks,
Daniel

New 72V BMC Team Hybrid Puma Video now Online!

Hello

I got out this weekend on the Team Hybrid Puma BMX. Ran it at 72V, to say it is fast is an understatement! anyone who is in the market for a seriously fast and powerful hub motor need not look anywhere else.

Check the video out and if you know of anything that can outperform this little motor for the size, weight and price then I would like to know about it.

Hope you enjoy

Hello from Steve @ TechBikes

Hi All,
Reluctant move from comfy ol' Vis4V... I was hanging on with a condom on in case the cavalry arrived. I'm sure it's not all over, but I got fed up of my McAfee kicking up all the time today. Vis4V is still bieng virus upgraded by mr hakka, and this screenshot shows what happens now just navigating to 'Bikes & Pedelecs'.

Anyway, here's a warning to everyone to never use Lithium batteries; this photo proves that they are absolutely lethal :-)
