Yes, i've installed it on my Li+. Works very well but i'm not really sure what are the differences between this one and the R8010-42 because i used the 8010-42 for only a few days...

Re: VX-1 Li/Li+ Firmware Revision March 2015

I have found the "new" firmware some days ago.

I have used this combination for long time, with good results (too long eq time, but may be caused by some weak cells):
BC: R8010-42
MC: R2042-04
ICM: DIY-1708
BMS: BMS R54

Has anybody installed the new one from vectrixparts???

Thanks

Finally I have replaced the R8010-42 with the new LiFe40-3 firmware. I can't find new features, but the charger goes fine.

Re: VX-1 Li/Li+ Firmware Revision March 2015

Old post, but I just did.
Replaced NIMH with Leaf cells. Firmware as on website, except Runke charger. Had to replace main board in charger. SW is newer than the one on website. Do not remember number..
Also mounted BMS for 36 cells. Think it is somehow similar to Vectrix Lithium.
Everything works fine. There is a "menu" where you can see technical stuff while riding. Amps, Volts, Cell volts, temperatures and so on.
Charging is adapted for lithium. You can also adjust charge power up to 1500W, and Ah capacity up to 65 Ah.
Speed its 110 Km/h.

I like it :)
