Where is the brake fluid checked?

My manual says to check the gauge on the left handlebar to ensure that the brake fluid is above the indicated level. I don't see it. If anyone has checked their Zapino's brake fluid level please help me out here.

Re: Where is the brake fluid checked?

There should be a little, typically rectangular, fluid reservoir/master cylinder near the fulcrum of the brake lever. If the scooter has a handlebar fairing, it is probably behind the fairing, so you will have to remove the fairing.

With the reservoir exposed, you will see a little sight-glass. The fluid level should be even wit the sight-glass.

Thanks. Apparently I have to take off the fairing to see it.
