Am in the process of installing a BL-36 kit on a MIami Sun Trike. I need
to know the details of installing the anti-rotation washer on the hub
axle. I assume the prong goes into the fork cutout and flat washers & nut
go next. I also assume if this anti-rotation washer isn't put in, the motor
would back off the nuts and cause a mess. Appreciate any help.

yes you have it right. the tab goes into the dropout, on the side with no wires.
