Hope it's not too much of a re-visit...but Halogen light bulbs???

I could use some help form the smart readers and posters round here. I bought a 2008 Motorino XPh near the end of last summer, and have loved it save for 1 thing!!

The head lights could stand to be brighter, however with my lack of knowledge of eletronics ( ie battery drain and so on), I didn't want to muck about changing things till a smarter duck spoke up.

1) How much extra draw on the battery would halogen bulbs be? Major or minor?

2) Being I am in Ontario Canada, any idea of where I could find replacment bulbs for such and upgrade?
I have searched the net and landed on a site from the great Down Under of Oz for Halogen bulbs that fit most makes of scooters/Motobikes
Auzie Scooter Parts Site

Has anyone done an upgrade to their scooters lighs? Happy or dissapointed?

Anyway I hope to hear back from Y'all, thanks in advance!!

Ebikes-ca is selling led lights that run on any voltage. Might make a good supplementary light if you added a couple of those to your stock headlight.

Thank you for the info, but adding extra fixtures to my scooter was not what I had in mind. I'm not sure I would even know where or how to mount.

This is a pic of my bike, and the basic idea is to replace just the Bulbs inside
