Mapping Software

Hi,

I have a lot of latitude and longitude data which I want to map out and to be able to also incorporate other data sets (volts, amps and temperatures). So, for example, I could show my route on a map and the color of the line would change depending on the speed.

Anybody know of good software for this?

Thanks,
John H.

Re: Mapping Software

Not specifically a canned package, but what about using the Google Earth API? It looks as though you could customize whatever you need using the kml structure.

Re: Mapping Software

Hi Bret, Yup I just came to the same conclusion. I'll take my data and make a KML file. Thanks!

Re: Mapping Software

See www.everytrail.com for very nice map, speed, and altitude displays of GPS data. Maybe your "other" data (amps) could be added, or put in place of the altitude data?
