I just bought a Embi 48v moped with no batteries for 75 dollars its in great shape except for no batts, I will get those soon. Anyone know where I can get any info on it. I can find very little on Embi. Thanx

My tail light bulb on my XB-500 is a 12v 1157 "positive ground" bulb. Does anybody know where to buy one of these and by any chance does somebody make a LED version of the bulb? Thanks Mike D

hi i am new to the whole electric scooter thing and i just bought a thompson cs600s
it can go about 20 miles before the batteries die and i was just wondering if it would be possible to wire another set of batteries in parralel to extend the battery life.
would there be and complications with this?

Hi, my scooter (Schwinn S350) has developed a flutter only at full throttle. It has ran great until lately. I have a shunt mod, as well as overvolt from 24 to 36 volts (motor only ESC is 36 volts). I think it would be the batteries getting tired, but I can't afford to guess on what parts to replace. The scooter runs great until w.o.t. Any help would be great, thanks.

Can some one post the proper bolt sequence for re-assembleing the rear wheel with drum brakes? I forgot how it goes and nothing is working. From bearing out would be nice.

I am "folding" the plan to add a motor to my 16" dahon to get it to 30 mph. I took my bike down a steep hill last week. It rode well, but I could see, given the road conditions, that control could easily be an issue under less than ideal situations. I still plan to add a motor to it..but it will come later, and be a much less powerful match.

Hello.Well, my problem is the next: I disarmed the scooter why doesn't turn on. (led off and no sound.). Okey, i found a loose wire coming from switch. I connect this in the positive wire coming from of motor and the scooter is turn on. BUT the power led is orange and makes a infinity beep (sound). I try to accelerate and nothing happens.
suggestions:
safe wire incorrectly connected?
battery is dead?
fuse is dead?
i recently reemplace charger 24v dc . But the scooter has been stored for a long time :s
