I'm gearing up to convert my 36 volt brushless bicycle to 72 volt. I plan to use six 36 volt Dewalt packs. I plan to put two of the packs in series to get 72 volts and have a three way switch to move between the series packs as each pair goes dead. This way I will know exactly how much power is left and can charge up two batteries at a time while on a long ride.
Any advice as to where to buy a controller? I think I will get a 72 volt 35 amp job. I will also need a new throttle. I'm thinking of replacing my motor with a dual wind motor as well.
