Hi,
Newbe here, I have this motor and want to run a 48V 1000 Watt or 48V 1500 Watt controller with hall sensor and I'm not sure which way to go? Also both of the controllers have a hall sensor in them but so does the motor so its a 3 part question.
1. Is over volting to 1000 or 1500 watt to much for this motor?
2. If there is a hall sensor in the motor can you also have a hall sensor on the controller?
3. What could happen with the 2 questions above?

After being on the forum for a long time I am realizing that I help run an automotive mechanical repair shop and I work with oil. I am starting to have these feelings that maybe I just feel guilty for this place being open and helping to run it. I would like to know how I can become more involved in taking action to make the planet a better place to live. It's really slowly starting to upset me that I am here. I have learned a lot by being here on the forum and reading everything here but that is just information to take in. My question is how to become more involved.

Hello All,
Need help with a Schwinn S350. The problem is that I have replaced the batteries and all went great for about 2 weeks. Now after batteries were recharged several times, now when turned on, both the green and red LED lights illuminates on the throttle control and the scooter will not run. Both battery voltages are correct, and not sure how to proceed from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Phil

I have an electric bicycle. Unfortunately while i was riding it the hub motor wheel came loose off the fork and the wire coming out of the hub motor twisted. I have purchased a new hub motor and would like to ask for instrucitons of how can i replace it. I will also try to fix the damaged one if possibile.

Hi to everybody. I'm italian and finally I bought a second hand VX-1. Good conditions, around 6000 Km. I moved from stars to barns in a while. Just after 300 Km batteries had first problems. Too high temperature in short range, during charge as well. Found one bad sensor, but the real problem were two cells, one shorted another burned. At that time two ways: buy new NiMH and repair original pack or move to LiPO. I decided to buy 36 cells 40 Ah Kokam.

Hi, I'm about to purchase a LiFePO4 battery over the internet but the picture of a Li-ion cell and LiFePO4 cell on their website look exactly the same. Is there a way to check once I get the battery which technology is it?
Thanks for your support on someone new on LiFePO4

I have constructed an ebike using a chinese motor off of ebay. It is a 48 v 1000w. Worked great for a month they my son took it out. He either ran it too hot or in low voltage or both. Now the motor will only work when I pulse the throttle. It sends power to the motor for 2-3 seconds. I can still get it to go by constant pulsing but hard on the thumb and I obviously cannot get it upto its previous speed. Is my motor toast? If so any recommendations on a more durable one. Thanks

First off let me say that I have looked over this entire website and a lot of the posts here and I have to say I think this community of people all interested in energy conservation, and clean environment vehicles is very cool.
With that said I thought this would be a good place to share with all of you about a new vehicle made by a company called “Wheego” and how you can take a look at one if you’re interested and in the state of Oregon.
For those of you that are interested in technical specification’s this is a breakdown of the vehicle itself.
