I was wondering if anyone can tell me - which of the stand up scooter frames can hold the most batteries? I currently have one of the Chinese X900 models, which has been great - I love it. But it's time to upgrade ... I'm trying to figure out whether I should get new electronics for my existing frame, or upgrade to a frame that can house more batteries. The one I have now only holds three. Thanks!

Apparently in some jurisdictions ebikes are governed by a weight restriction in addition to wattage and speed.
I think you're asking the question a little bit wrong.
"Hold the most batteries" isn't quite the right way to view it. The thing to look at is a combination which gives you the most kilowatt hours of energy storage .. it's KWH which determines your ultimate range.
Power Density in Batteries and Electric Vehicles and Overview of batteries and electric vehicles are a pair of articles I've written on this. The summary is that some battery systems hold more KWH per kilogram than do other battery systems, but another consideration is the size of the battery systems. Just because a battery offers a high density in KWH per kilogram does not mean it offers a high density in KWH per liter. Finally to have speed the battery system must offer high power capacity.
