Re: fast electric scooter

This is almost certainly going to require modifying existing scooters. But it depends on what you mean by "scooter". e.g. Vectrix sells a thing they call a MaxiScooter ... goes 60 miles/hr (well, they're going to sell it "soon" whenever "soon" comes) ... and EVT or GreenEMotor or Oxygen or some others all carry scooters which go 30+ miles/hr.

But I think you mean something different than that.

The ones I'm familiar with, of the type you probably mean, are: rad2go e-36; GoPed ESR-750; Forsen ... these go close to the speed you desire. The e-36 is built like a tank and can take the stresses of higher speed.

Several community members have built high speed monsters... though the preferred motor, the etek, isn't as readily available as it was.

Re: fast electric scooter

Get a DUAL kit from TheSupKids.com and put 2 of the powerpack motors in there and you will hit over 35mph with the stock gearing and have super incredible hill climbing torque, and high 30's manybe even 40mph+ with modified gearing and still have very decent torque. Or you can contact Tim owner of Powerpack motors and he has a 1500 watt Brush less motor and controller combo that will cheaper than a dual kit and will go just as fast. You have to make the mount though, not that hard if you have the time and tools. I plan on doing the DUAL kit on my Schwinn Stealth. I hope this helps. God Bless :)
