Emax Headlights >>>>>>>

I ran my EMAX tonight for a little run and my head light really sucks. I have some flashlights that seem brighter and stronger. I was reading that it uses a really uncommon size I think a S2 12V 35W/35W BA20D type. Does anyone know if it can be upgraded or replaced with a better brighter bulb. I know with the 35watt rating that it is probably used to save battery power, has anyone replaced it or converted it with an HID kit, as they too only run at 35 watts and would be much-much-much brighter. Thanks for any info.

I don't have a suggestion

I don't have a suggestion regarding HID lights or brighter bulbs, I just wanted to add that I put a 35W12v halogen headlight on my scooter and found it only provided enough light for riding to about 20mph max. I'm guessing if you wanted to go cheap, perhaps (3) 35W bulbs tilted upwards a degree or a few might provide sufficient light for riding at the emax's ~30mph top speed. I have no idea the DC-DC converter's wattage capability. Four 12v35 bulbs in series connected to the main batts might work too.

Ok I have found

that the STOCK Emax bulb is a cheap incandescent type12 volt BA20D type at 35watts, which again is a real odd size. They do have a HALOGEN replacement at 35/35watts which is suppoedly much brighter, and even 45/45watt but a lot of places seem to be out of them. So looking around, I see this MODIFICATION for a different motorcycle:

http://www.pmxtec.com/prod06.htm

I have not taken my headlight off yet, has anyone else that has an EMAX think if this will work on the EMAX where it is replaced by using a more common H7 bulb ?? Yes it will take almost double the energy of the stock bulbs but it will be so much brighter and there will be no chance to "Run Faster than your lights" at night if you know what I mean.

Hmmm, if this H7 modification can work, I wonder than if you can use it to add a HID H7 kit to the EMAX ?? Now that would be even better as HID's only use 35watts and that is what the stock bulbs use, and everyone knows that the light output of HID's would be about 5 times the stock bulbs. Please let me know what you all think. God Bless and Merry Christmas !!!
