`RedRum ,
Welcome to the V is for Voltage Community. Your post must have fallen in a crack, just saw it.
I don't think you'll hear too many bad things about Falcom EV, other than there very crowded site which is very hard to read.
What were you looking for?

Have you read this? Falconev.com and Scooters 2006-7.
Jerome Bird, the author is pretty well respected in EV circles.
FalconEV is also the US distributor for the E-Runner and E-Cruiser electric scooters which are built in China under the ERATO product name.

Re: FalconEV review/impressions?

Gman,

Thanks for the link. It was helpful. FalconEV mentioned there are new 2007 models that use a 2000W @ 48V brushless motor and a 55 amp controller. I would think it's at least as good as the pre-2007 model. The 55 amp controller is suppose to give it better acceleration.

I hadn't seen that yet, but I was surprised while chatting with a person from China that sell a lot E Scooters here, most of what's currently on our market is last years models. Of course you can understand, t would be suicide for a local Vendor to try and sell 2007 models when they still had 2006 or older in stock. They also may get them at a lower cost, and it's not like we are going to see a lot of 2007 on the roads and notice the difference.. Him being a salesman, he will always say the current model is much better than last years, he's already got his commission check and cashed it and looking for additional business in the USA.
