I think this hasn't been posted here yet:
100% Street Legal
Dual Sport
Electric Motorcycle
DOT Certified
Electric Super Motard
$5800 w/ SLA Batteries
Motor: Etek
Power: 15 peak horse power
Top Speed: 45 to 62 mph (adjustable with gearing)
Range: 20 to 60 miles (SLA or LiFePO4)
Brakes: Front and rear hydraulic disk
Charge Time: 1.5 hours
The Etek and batteries are nicely integrated into the frame, can't really tell it's electric until you get close up (or don't hear it).
Perfect solution for off road fun without the noise ... 8)

FYI to avoid potential confusion: The guy in the picture is Todd Kollin, not me - I just took the picture off his web site under 'fair use' :-) I've never seen the bike, even though I'd like to!

Hmm - this 'Product Announcement' category is kind of a lame duck category. Does anyone look here? We should close this and leave product announcements in their respective vehicle type categories. At least that is where I would expect to find them - most of the posts are announcements of sorts anyway...

`greatguru,
You have a very good point, it is a kinda lame category that migrated from the old Forum. We'll certainly look into making the changes you suggested ASAP.
