Cool. But are you sure that's Datsun? I saw on this brochure the name "Lectra Motors" with an address in Las Vegas, right? Perhaps this Lectra Motors did business similarly to Jet Industries and US Electricar .. where they got glider vehicles from the majors and electrified those.
And, it's interesting this brochure dates from the early 80's.. same as Jet and US Electricar .. that was the previous oil shortage period, and like now that was a bright time for alternate transportation and energy technologies.

I suppose yer right, I just saw that they were using Datsuns as the platform and I got all excited having owned a couple myself. I wonder where they all went? It would be interesting to actually FIND some old Lectras!

I wonder where they all went? ... I don't know, this is the first I've heard of these Lectra's ... so far as I knew the only Lectra was the motorcycle, of which I have one in my garage ...

THIEVE THIEVE THIEVE Officer I went to walk my Dog, and when I returned someone had stole my 1981 Lectra Electric Brochure of my Computer, and my neighbors said he took off going East on a big Tricycle real fast, they estimated about 40 MPH when he turned onto Watson.
Now I wonder who that could have been?
