As presented here http://www.emax-ltd.com/
They seem rather heavy? Seemingly because of really heavy batteries, the base model has 4x16kg =64kg batteries, and weighs 150 kg. Next model packs in a whopping 90 kg of batteries, for a total of 175 kg.
I do hope they make it, the top model could bring some serious competition to the Vectrix. Price should be well below the Vectrix, but range is superior. Performance might not be too far off as well, since the Vectrix weighs more - 130 kg vs 210 kg.

rgx,
I see the Company link is still under construction, do you think they will ever try the US market again?
It seems the new model looks very different from what was sold here doesn't it.

RGX,
Where are you getting your information? All I get on the URL you furnished is a picture of their scooter - no links or anything.
After the financial ruination of the last US e-max distributor, I don't think we will be seeing these here anytime soon. Considering the general ridicule I've recieved riding my e-max, I don't think Americans will warm to EV's any time soon...

I can see the specs on their web site and if I didn’t know better I would be drooling over them but I do hope they got their act together and can deliver a good reliable product with out the problems of the original company. But that said my e-max is still running strong. I have over a thousand miles on it and although I’ve been riding it rather infrequently due to the weather this time of the year I have over 200 miles on it at 60 volts with no problems. What ever the case I’ll be keeping an eye on the new e-max models.

I only get a picture of the scooter, no links to click - nothing. What is going on?
Click HERE to see the specifications. The other link was for an opening page which does not display well on most systems. Bad site programmer (IMHO). The page was too long to be displayed properly and some of you could not see the button because the scroll bars were also disabled. I hope this helps the group.

In the bottom of the picture, there is a start button, am I the only one that can see it?
And yes, I know we all got screwed but let's move on, by now it should be possible to discuss the new models at least on a conceptual level. Knowing what the old e-max could do, the new models seem very realistic and within reach technically and financially. The figures on max speed seem exagerated by a few km/h, though. The litium models are the most tempting, but as I understand it there are challenges with the batteries. So far, no one has dared to sell a product with Thundersky batteries to an end consumer, with all the legal obligations that follow. The first years of production were shaky, but should be more stable now.
My e-max is also still going strong btw., at 2850 km. Winter has been warm over here, I'm using the scooter almost every day.
Regards,
Rolf
No, there is no start button on the web page that loads on my machine. Very odd.
Are they preventing USAns from entering the site? Can they tell from the IP address?
Can you give me the URL to which the button is linked, or is it a javascript?
I am at nearly 4800 km on the old scooter, and it seem to be develping at least one weak battery - still gets me the 20 km to work and back. The (now souped-up) spousees scooter is at 840 km.
Any kind of price quoted on the web site?

e-max is moving again, they have annonced the 90S and 110S models for sale in Sweden, first delivery expected in February 2008. There is a promotion video on the site
http://www.emax-sweden.se/E-max%20video.wmv
Set me up for a 190L, will you? I'll have that one or the Vectrix, whichever can be delivered first. Or a Vespa hybrid in worst case. And I'm in training for a motorcycle license, which will be needed for any of them.

New E-max located in Wuxi city,china,150kms from Shanghai.
It is 4kw Italy design motor made in china .... I have its dymo test data too....the highest efficiency point is 90%
It will come out in couple of months,Michael from UK would be exclusive in USA.
Interesting pic. I like how they've decided to have a slightly raised floor with foot rests either side. I imagine that restores under seat storage, keeps all the weight lower and doesn't really adversely impact the "step through" design.
Nice idea.
I look forward to finding out specs and prices etc...
