The question on the movie marquee might ask "Who Killed the Electric Car?" but a legion of carport mechanics and soldering iron savants aren't waiting for a post-mortem.
They're building their own electric vehicles, or EVs, their own cars of the future.

I'm on the road right now, and am lucky to even get online.
My pic was right on the front page of the paper with a huge headline. Guess I'll be famous for a while.

You SHOULD be proud, man.. you're, "putting the E in Easy Rider"! Not to mention that the term "uber geek" has lost a little more of its negative connotations.
