April 10 - 12: Gateway Green 500 - Local Caravan Will Feature Hybrid and Alternative-fuel Vehicles
A caravan of hybrid and alternative-fuel vehicles will be making its way through the City as part of "Gateway Green 500" an event sponsored by the St. Louis Regional Clean Cities. The caravan is designed to introduce Missouri and Illinois residents to the latest in high-efficiency hybrid vehicles and alternative fuel vehicles - including flexible-fuel vehicles. The caravan will kick off at off at Ranken Technical College April 10 and wrap up April 12 at the Route 66 State Park. Stops during the tour include St. Louis Community College/ Forest Park, Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis Science Center, Monsanto, Museum of Transportation. On April 11, there will be a joint workshop and expo, organized by NAFA-National Association of Fleet Administrators at the Collinsville Gateway Center. (See the following event listing.)
