Well, I passed the 1,000 mile mark in my new Evader scooter, and I am now convinced that it is a very worthy product. I have had *no* problems with it, and it reliably goes about 30 miles at 30-32 mph on a single charge. It is built on a chassis more like the ones you would see on a 150cc gas scooter than a 50cc scooter, and the 19" diameter tires are a safety plus. I did rewire the charging circuit so that I could use a 48V charger (it was configured originally to alternately charge the batteries in two banks of 24V each using a 24V charger) and I added powercheqs.

Glad to hear the good news. Which model did you get and do you still have both of them?

Where do you get prices on these scooters....and buy from??? Is the only way to fill in their info form on the company website?

I bought my scooter from a warehouse in Colorado who somehow got 6 of the new Evader scooters. They list for $2500 and I bought mine for $550 plus $100 shipping! At that price they all sold in a day. They do have dealers selling the scooters, and you can probably get in touch with one through their web site, but you will probably have to pay close to the list price.
Glad to hear your new scoot worked out for you!
I have up-volted my Evader to 60v and get about 28 mph, a good in-town speed. I still need to avoid riding on the 35 mph roads.
At least I am not holding up anyone anymore.

Hi Mech701,
Welcome to our V-is-for-Voltage Community!
We appreciate you input and hope to see many more posts about your Evader.
Just out of curiosity, how much mileage do you get per charge with the higher voltage?
Thanks for dropping in and Welcome Aboard!!
