We are happy to inform you that the R-20 is now in production. From a mechanical and performance point of view all models are identical. All will be powered by a 2500-watt 60-volt hub motor. Only the body of the R-20 is totally different. Everything else remains the same.

The "Alert! Cancel your EVT America R-20 orders! Safety recall!" post by kringle777 has been temporally unpublished until it can be verified by the proper Authority charged with issuing Recalls.
So far we have not been able to verify any of the information is correct with either EVT America,Federal Trade Commission or there Bureau of Consumer Protection.
If you receive this notification it means that you have previously filled out our Waiting List registration form and are a member of the "Z-20/R-20 Waiting List Club".

EVT Introduces 45mph Retro-Styled Electric Motorcycle
We've been waiting for EVT America to introduce their high performance Z-20 electric scooter since September 2005. For several years it appeared that the manufacturer of the popular EVT-4000e had bitten off more than they could chew during the development of an affordable electric moped capable of hitting 45 mph (72 km/h).
