Using 1 throttle for a brushed controller and a brushless controller at the same time

I am trying to find out if I can parallel one hall throttle for different kinds of motor controllers at the same time. I have a 48v Brushed Motor Controller(hall sensor, 800w - 1500w, 50a max)hooked up to Unite MY1020 (both from TNC Scooters) and a brand new upgraded 48v Brushless controller (350w, 15a max) from E-Crazyman hooked up to a Ananda 198 Hub Motor (oem: 36v, 250w, 15a max) and have a simple 48v w/led thumb throttle from E-Crazyman hooked to the brushed controller. Currently I have the 48v on my right side and the 36v OEM half twist for the hub flipped around on the left.

Thoughts about a crash/impact circuit breaker?

Hello,

I'm converting my Mercedes c107. To drive it I need to have it safety tested at the TuV center in Germany. They need to know if the car is safe in a crash and nobody will be the victim of high currents.

In a crash I most likely will not have the time to use the manual circuit breaker. I think I need an automatic one, something like an accelerationswitch, which will disconnect the circuit at strategic places if the car slows down way too fast.

Is there maybe already a solution out there? Has anybody some hints?

Many thanks in advance!
Martijn

anyone willing to repair an Ebike controller for a fee?

I need my controller repaired. I do not know the make :( It is a 48v/1000w/20ah controller for a 48v/1000w motor with a 48v 20Ah Lifepo4 battery. To sum up what I think happened is, I THINK I got aluminum dust shavings onto the board, the details are located in this link http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12673 if you are up for the challange please let me know. Name your price.
Thanks in advance - Sub

s350 help

I recently inherited two s350 scooters that are mechanically sound but don't run. I checked the charger first and got no voltage, pulled the batteries out and charged them individually on my car charger. now the light comes on when you throw the switch, but nothing else. all connections look good, fuse is good, but motor doesn't turn at all. How can I check the throttle and the controller?

How to wire up a controller for a custom electric wagon

I am in the process of building an electric wagon for my daughter and I am not very knowledgable about electrical. I purchased a CT-660B9 controller from TNC Scooters, a 750W 36V moter, (3) 12V batteries, a brake handle with two wires to connect to controller, a thumb throttle to connect to controller and a charger port. Do I need an ingnition switch for this application, and if so, how many wires (2,3,4)? Is there anything else I should need to get this powered up and any suggestions on wiring it together?
THANKS!

Basic electronics question about transistors

Sooooooo. I bought a controller with cutoffs for my brakes with. At 18mph the brake controller could matter less, but I had intended to hook up my my motor heat sensor to these brake cutoff wires.
My heat sensor and brakes are closed circuits until too much heat, or brakes on. On my controller a closed circuit indicates brakes on.

Infineon Controller on XB-500 motor

I am using an Infineon controller to power my XB-500. It works great for a few minutes until it gets warmed up. I then start to have problems engaging the throttle at lower speeds. Sometimes I get a screeching sound from the motor until I back off on the throttle and then slowly ramp it back up.

Anyone have clue what might be going on with it? Is this from the motor overheating or the controller?

Has anyone else ever had their motor squeal? It is a high pitched sound and the pitch will vary with the throttle input.

Yet another way to fry controller!

Just got my project finished ... a 24v "PowerTow" airplane tug. Looks sort of like a garden tiller, has arms on the front to grasp the nosegear lugs on my Cessna 206. I use it to push/tug the airplane (2600 lbs) in and out of the hangar. I found a 4.5 amp, 24v gearmotor with a 20:1 reduction box on eBay for $60 that works great. I ran a belt drive from it with about a 3:1 reduction to a jackshaft where a sprocket drives a chain on the single wheel, the final drive sprockets give about another 5:1 reduction. I power it with two 12v 7.5ah SLA's in series.

Can I use just any throttle for my 36 volt 800 watt controller and motor

Can I use any throttle I see on ebay for my 36 volt 800 watt motor and controller? Would this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260430582005&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&salenotsupported

Or do I need a specific throttle meant for 36 voltage? Thanks
