Large size scooters from X-Treme Scooters

Does anyone know what's going on with X-Treme? For over a week, they have not answered their phone, they have not charged any orders, nor have they shipped anything out to their customers. I have "heard" that they were supposed to be closed last week due to "inventory" and would return this week, but it looks as if they still are not (not answering phones, not responding to emails, nothing be charged or shipped). Does anyone know what's going on?

I was charging my 500-li the other day and found a red switch on a single pair of wires next to the main charge plug. The bike appears to function completely no matter what position the switch is in.
Anybody have any idea what this toggle switch is for?

What's the maximum input voltage limit for the stock DC-DC converter in an XM-3000?
I'm considering upgrading to a 72VDC Lithium pack, but leaving the DC power tap for the converter where it is would imbalance the pack relative to the additional battery I will be placing in series with the others for 72V.

Hello, All.
Does anybody here know how to activate/enable the Regen feature in an XM-3000 controller?
USATracy apparently had instructions on how to do this on his website, but that's disappeared.

My new 4000Li makes a humming or almost subtle grinding noise when I first take off. Has anyone else experienced this?
It also arrived with a little bit of road rash, which I expected from either shipping or it being a showroom display model. But otherwise it is beautiful and wow what an improvement over the xb-700li. It is built with far superior quality and feels absolutely solid, whereas my 700li should have been nicknamed "Elvis". It would rattle shake and roll over every tiny bump.

Hello,
I just purchased the XM-4000Li, plugged it up and after it was done charging, i turned the key and nothing happened. No red light, no battery gauge movement, no horn, nothing. I turned that switch under the seat from off to on and turned the key again and still nothing happened. I tried to charge it again with that switch being on, it charged for about 20 minutes and then i tried to turn the bike on and again nothing happened. This is crazy. I put in a support ticket to xtreme but i was hoping to hear something back sooner so I'm trying here. any suggestions?

Does anybody have any recommendation as to where to get replace batteries from? Maybe someplace NOT to buy from? I am looking for the Thunder Sky TS-LFP40AHA for my XM-4000. I am thinking about replacing 2 that are slightly damaged. I found several places on the internet. Two place had the TS batteries but, the part numbers did not seem right. When I clicked the on the spec's they listed the TS-LYP40AhA. Could not find what LYP means in the TS manual. Two places had the right batteries listed but were out of stock.

I was installing my new Cycle Analyst and decided to measure the voltage of each cell. I started disconnecting the individual cells when one of the copper straps slipped over and touched the other cell. On the XM-4000 if you think of the batteries as 4 strings, the 2 of the strings shorted. I was wondering if anybody had is ideas of what to expect next. Do I need to replace all 20 batteries or just the 8 that shorted together? Can the batteries be tested to tell which are bad? How hard is it to replace them or get new ones?

Hi all,
Not much traffic here recently. No one has much to say. Anyway, my XM-4000 is running good, back and forth to work. I am adding a CycleAnalyst I was wondering if anyone had any suggestion or idea on how to mount it. I am planning to drill some holes in the plastic housing that covers the handle bars for the wires. Then put on some velco that has sticky tape to secure the box in place. If you have done this any suggestions as to which wires to splice into?

Hi All,
I'm trying to fix up an XM-3100 so a friend's son can use it to get to college and back this coming semester. The scoot was apparently purchased by my buddy's neighbor, who never actually used it, and given to him a year or so later. As far as I know, it's never been ridden at all. All the original plastic covering the lights is still there, baked on from a year in the sun.
I charged it up, which seems to have gone fine, although I know I won't be able to tell how well the batteries will hold a charge until I get it running.
