I'm hearing a scratching noise from the my hub motor of my Erider Puma and was thinking about opening upp the motor to have a look.
Has anyone done this?
I guess I'll need some kind of gear puller or something to overcome the magnetic force when pulling out the rotor from the stator?

My Puma rear shocks are not very smooth. When I compress them, it feels like a jumping movement, not smooth.
I'm going to try and change oil, but I don't really know how to open them up.
Any advice?

Has anyone on "V" opened up the Controller on a 5000Li Moped? The reason I ask is that I am without lights on my 5000Li. I have a good DC and we have tested the wires from the DC to the Controller and there is no power coming out. I have power to the motor and the battery pack is fine. I just don't have lights and I have no experience with the controllers to just open one up.

I am checking the waters here to see if anyone is parting out their XM-5000Li. I have +28K miles on mine and I would like to keep going. If you have a working charger, please let me know.

Since this seems to be a common problem, I'll make a separate thread about the issue.
There seems to be a couple of possible sources of vibrations,
- Unbalanced front wheel
Easy to fix with normal balancing procedures.
- Unbalanced rear wheel
Harder to fix. Any ideas here?
Putting magnets on different positions and spinning the rear wheel with the motor on the center stand might work, but seems a bit arbitrary.
- Tyre is not symmetrical
Seems to be common with the standard Chinese tyre.
Throw away and buy a new one.
