Hi guys, i'm david from Israel, been following several posts from this forum lately as i planed to buy an electric scooter.
last week i went to try the Erider 5000W and his bigger brother the Erider Maxi 8000W.
no need to tell you about the specifics of the 5000W as it has been discussed already but here is my impression from a short ride on the Maxi:

Hi to all, I would like to add to the list of Sla to Lithium conversion my e-scooter.
It’s a scooter “low cost” similar to a XM-2000, it was a 2000W 48V 38AH, after several steps now it’s a 60V 40AH(20cells LIFEPO4 ).
Before the conversion speed was around 55KM/h (34Mi/h) now the max speed is 68Km/h (42 MI/h)
The range is really increased, it changes from a range of 50KM with a new pack of SLA at 45Km/h
to a range of 70KM with a the lithium battery.

Anyone have suggestions for a replacement throttle for an X-Treme Scooters XM-3150? I have been calling X-treme scooters parts dept. for a month and they do not return my calls.
I have an XB-502 that I swapped the throttle over from but it doesn't appear to have the correct voltage? It's all good till I twist the throttle ... even the smallest bit ... there is a soft "thunk" in the wheel hub-motor and and I nothing beyond that.
Any ideas?

In doing research into buying a scooter it dawned on me that it might be possible to use the sophisticated high power battery system as a back up power system. Could a DC to AC power inverter be connected to the power that leads to the motor? Maybe one such as this?
Ultimately powering things like a TV, computer, cable/sat box, refrigerator, etc.
At the very least I'd like to install a USB socket to recharge my cell/GPS. I found this howto on a motorcycle forum.

I have put a little over 6000 miles on my 4000li in 11 months and she is running strong at around 40 mile range per charge with the new charger. My full charge voltage reads right around 79 volts, and I always stop well before 60 volts at rest. My Lithium 40ah cells have a full 2 year warranty on them, and at this point I am pretty certain they must still be operating within spec or my range would be lower. So my plan is to put another 6000 miles on her over the next 11 months, and then tear the bike down and check the cells individually again.

I have an '08 XM-3000 I purchased recently that ran fine until last night. Went to the grocery store with no problem. However, when I hopped on to ride home I turned the key on, heard a quick "thump" (from the hub motor, I think), turned the throttle and nothing happened. Wound up pushing that puppy about a mile back home.

Hi guys,
I got myself a 2009 XM-3000 in a very good condition with only 690 km.
This is my first bike and first electric.
Not what I was expecting at all!
Not a stranger to torque ( C6 Vette) but this thing has some torque!
Fun to drive, 25-30 mph feels like you are going a 100 MPH :)
One question I got - I don't have a low/high speed switch on the right handle, there is a
Space but no switch?
Also any good online stores with accessories for our bikes?
