Vectrix

So I've been keeping an eye on any alternatives to the stock charger, just in case. My interest is now much higher as it appears my ESD charger has died after 14 years and 90,000km. Nothing when I plug it in, popped the two connectors, reconnected still nothing. Been running Leaf cells for over 5 years with Laird firmware. Any advice would be grateful.

Any how, the TC Charger, will it work with my setup?
Firmware?
How does it integrate with the Dash clocks etc?

Hello again vectrix guys. I have developed a fully integrated BMS in Vectrix systems. It seems that Poland is no longer supplying parts for our bike so little by little we will be looking for replacement solutions for the Vectrix systems.

Hi Vectrix guys. I have finished the android application for our vectrix VX1. It is compatible with all BMSs, those made by me and those from Poland.
Allows monitoring of battery pack cell voltages up to 48S. Allows monitoring of battery and BMS temperatures. In my BMSs, it also allows the monitoring of derivation states.
It also allows you to easily send configuration commands, adjust the time of the bike, which easily delays and other things.

In the fall I picked up a 2007 VX-1 and decided to make it a project. I thought if I couldn't get it running off the existing batteries, I was going to do a Nissan Leaf conversion, or similar. I have built several batteries for electric kick scooters and have a good sense for the general principles, so how hard could it be? Right?!?

When I picked up the bike I didn't notice any kind of smell but it was cold out and I was focused more on what I could see vs smell. I moved and once I put it in my garage and turn a heater on, that's when I noticed it.

I'm looking for a possible Vectrix Virtual BMS implementation as it can exist on some EV:
i.e. https://github.com/dexterbg/Twizy-Virtual-BMS

it reproducing the system interface of the original BMS, the Virtual BMS enables replacing the original by a custom battery and custom BMS.

To do so, it require documentation on the Vectrix CAN object dictionary and BMS protocol.
But I do not find such informations.

When I installed 19 gen 2 Nissan LEAF modules into my VX-1, I decided to not install BMS at that time. I bottom-balanced the cells as many have done, but I never wanted to keep it that way forever. Part of my long-term concern is that 2 of my 19 modules came from a different battery pack than the rest, so their capacity/use history doesn't match the others. While a BMS (especially one that communicates with both the charger and motor controller) would be preferable, I've decided to at least get one step closer toward better battery management.

Today I used my last spare encoder to fix a customer bike whose enocder had suffered from water ingress

I went to order a replacement from vectrix parts, but see the website is down.
Same too for dugas engineering

Has anyone identified what encoder is used in the Vectrix, and where to order from?

Vectrix no longer purchases modified TC chargers.

This week the vectrix whatsapp group had a glimpse of what we call "the Queen". 1800 21700 cells conforming the largest battery pack ever fitted inside a vectrix, totalling 32 kWh!!

This battery is good for 350-400 km of range non stop!
Can't wait for next solid state battery gen! Will we be able to fit 50 kwh inside a vectrix?
