Just a suggestion...

Pride Victory mobility scooter throttle pot 5k

I have a Pride Victory 3 scooter. I need to secure the throttle pot 5K,and also the controller. the system uses a 24 volt (twin 12 volt batteries. the throttle pot controls the forward and reverse motion. the more you turn the pot the faster the motion.
I having trouble figuring out the system. I don't know whether the motor, controller,or another part is defective. Can I hot wire the motor directly from the batteries and see if the motor will turn?

I need help...I am confined to a scooter and have to work on it while sitting it at the same time..

strong[canadian tire] electris bikes

these are resonably well made using ? motors and what appears to be crystalyte type electrics. their 36v system has a pas system which is a pain in the butt.it kicks in and out at the worst of times. the crank sensor can be disconected
at the controller and now with moderate pedaling will push you up most hills. canaian tire discontinued the line as there were issues with batteries and chargers,to bad.it
appears to me that their biggest problem is the fact that unskilled people are putting them together at a flat rate

FWIW The CAPTCHA code reads up, down starting top left

For a primarily English language site I'd have thunk it went left to right. Oh well, at least I got there in the end!

Gushar's back!

Folks it appears that admin misunderstood my recent post asking them to do something to stop the "subscription" type posts going to my email. Just now when I came by the forum...I soon realized my online name had not only become "anonymous" but apparently admin had stopped my subscription to the forum! YIKES...so I just re-subscribed....

So admin you can disregard my other post asking you to fix my FORUM subscription. However, I still don't want to receive those "updates" to my email address if I can.

calling all engineers! :-) need advice on small diesel electric hybrid.

I am planning a diesel electric hybrid, I want to run it as 72 volts, use the small advanced dc (motor and curtis 72v controller.
I have a chineese 10hp diesel that I want to use as the range extender / speed increaser :-)

It will be a three wheel (2 in front 1 in back) 2 seat (36" wide side by side with an 8" stagger) highway capable car with a desired top speed of 80mph and an empty weight of (hopefully) 600 pounds not counting batteries

I want to keep the overall width to 56" (the outside measurements of the front tires) and an overall length of 120" or less.

Suppressing EMI in a DC/DC converter

Does anyone have any quick fix solutions or detailed solutions to suppress EMI emissions coming from a DC/DC converter (transformer) on a 48V 1500W e-scooter?.

stopping updates to email

I thought I had the problem solved when I went to my account and made sure there were no "subscriptions" activated from the forum. However, I still get these "email updates" from the visforvoltage forum to my email. Can someone tell me exactly how to not get these messages?

Thanks,
Gushar
