Post only visible when logged in?

Hi all,

I just posted a new topic on the large scooters forum, entitled "mod idea - what do you think". There were a couple of replies, then I wrote another reply. But that last one is only visible to me when I'm logged in, so that means the others can't see it either, right? I looked around for a solution, but I can't find it. Can someone enlighten me?

Thanks,

Wim

Can I please have more storage space?

Hi,

I have finally run out of storage space for the pictures used in my posts.

Is it possible to increase the allocated space?

Or is there some other way around the problem?

Can we have a, E MAX column please??

Dear Moderator Captain:

Would it not be possible to have an E-MAX column in the same category where you created the VECTRIX/ZAPINO/EVTA columns?

After all, there is still a bunch of us who ride them and we may find modding them with LiFePo4 or whatever makes them more useful....besides, the new E-MAX is going on sale sometime later this year (hopefully)

Thanks for all your hard work

Issue w/ DHTML menus in forum resoruces block

I'm seeing misbehavior with the Forum Resources sidebar menu and I'd like to know if any others are seeing this problem.

The Forum Resources sidebar is meant to be a helpful map into useful stuff on the site. In this menu I enabled the 'DHTML menu' support so it would behave more nicely. This menu has a nested list of sub-menu items, with a circle next to items that don't have children, and a triangle next to ones which do. For items with sub-menu items, you click on the menu and the sub-menu items immediately open up w/o having to reload the page.

WIRING FOR GAINING RANGE

If I wanted to gain range on my scooter, could I drop one or two more 12 v SLA batts (35AH) onto my scooter? Is it possible to wire the batteries in a parallel & series config to keep the system supplying 60v primary and gain range? I'd like to be able to drop a couple 12v batts on top of the 5 x 12v 35AH = 60v in the trunk to add to the string, maybe creating a range of 40 miles for a longer trip occasionally. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Scottmagic

This morning on the forum

This morning I found the site unresponsive and found the server's disk was full.

If you notice a pink box full of 'gibberish' the gibberish is an error message written in a foreign language which makes sense to geeks like me. If you see gibberish outbreaks let me know.

Bug - Resize Body Text Area

When posting, the 'body' text area can be vertically resized. However, when I click the bottom of the text area to resize it, it will not allow me to stop resizing it. The only way to cancel the resize action is to refresh the page. I'm assuming the desired functionality would be to click to begin resize, click again to save desired height and return to body text editing.

Suggestions for Scooters...

Hi, I'm very new to the whole electric scooter business, so I have no idea about what type of scooter to get or anything. :? From the little research I have done, I found the EV 1000, from Evader Motor Sports. At 30mph it seems fast enough for the city, however, I'm not sure if it is powerful enough to make it up long hills with about a 15-20% grade at a fast enough pace.

The bummer with the EV 1000 is that you have to change the battery once every two years. If a two year long lifespan is usual for electric scooters:
