New little start-up company with cool electric motorcycle prototype

I've been watching this guy's progress on Youtube for a couple of months. His first videos were of a pretty rough rolling chassis that performed great for a garage project. Well, now it seems that he's got some of his buddies helping out and he put together a REAL nice eBike prototype/conversion with a nice finish and they are developing a progressive throttle/power display/controller interface for between the twist-grip throttle and an Alltraxx controller.

Impressive for a garage project - and they've even set up their own web site - definitely worth a look.

P.S. - this place is okay, but if we're gonna stay we gotta paint it up better and maybe some nice curtains or a fishtank....

I think that mrfife (mike) was a frequent visitor on the old forums.

From Maxdon website:

It is based on a Derbi GPR50 chassis.

Same chassis they are using at http://www.electricmotorsport.com

Must be a good light chassis to use. If I was going to do another conversion I might be tempted just to buy a GPR50 for the chassis. Cleanup and restoration of an old bike is somewhat of a PITA.
