My first

Ray_T's picture

Hi,

I've been informed that this is the appropriate place to post a journal about my adventures with electric vehicles. So, here goes.

In July 2005 I bought two eGo2 LX scooters for myself and my girlfriend. As her's is now sitting unused for nearly a year in her new boyfriend's garage, I will refer to mine only in this blog.

I had nearly no knowlege about electric vehicles when I bought the thing, just a high school knowlege of electricity and have had to learn the hard way about maintenance of the different components from electrical to drivetrains to how the basic physics of motion are expressed in the electrical system of the scooter.

I have little time now to write in detail, so this entry is just an intro. Future entries will contain, hopefully in chronological order, some of the adventures and lessons I have had through ownership and use of this machine.

`Ray_T,
Welcome, I'd really be interested in reading about your eGo2 LX, since you've had it doing the change of ownership of eGo. Are things better or worse with the new ownership? :?
