The Alltrax looks like it woud be the best. I didn't find much information out there about the Alltrax. It would be easer to spend the money if I could get the manual before purchase.
Are there any less expensive ones out there?

Re: Looking for a 48 - 60 volt brushless hub motor controller

There is a guy that advertises on ebay who makes custom controllers for around 1 dollar per amp. He seems to do some quality work, I donno if he is able to do brushless controllers, but you could ask him. just look up pwm on ebay.

Re: Looking for a 48 - 60 volt brushless hub motor controller

With a few modifications, the controller used in the e-max and the Kasea scooters can be run at up to 60 volts and 100 amps. Some ex-e-max dealers may have some on hand.

You can use the brushless controllers made by Crystalyte. They have an immediate/instant start 72V controller made for their brushless e-bike hub motors.

There is also a brushless controller from powerpackmotors.

I would double check to make sure that these are compatible with your motor first.
