Didn't buy the 3 in 1 connector for 3X12V battery packs into a 36V pack- Can I make it? Is it hard?

I bought a hobby battery, basically, it is three battery packs, each at 12V, and 4200mAh.
So they each have a tamiya connector right. Three female tamiyas for discharge. The thing is my
Crystalyte motor needs one single connector with 36V and 4200mAh. So how do I get this thing going?

Crystalyte Controller and Battery Wire: What Gauge?

Does anyone here happen to know what gauge of wire is used on the Crystalyte RoadRunner Controller for 36V,20A (3620)? Is it 14AWG, 12AWG, 10AWG, or 8AWG?

Thanks!
I realize it uses the 1.88" tall Anderson PowerPole connector, and it is rated at 50A.

Crystalyte Kit Using a Hobby battery Ni-MH Tamiya connector and Anderson connector

Hi,

I am getting a Crystalyte motor, and will be buying an NiMH battery from a hobby supplier, batteryspace

The Crystalyte controller uses an Anderson controller, but the battery uses a Tamiya connector.

Is there a way to get these two to work? Some sort of adapter available or am i at a loss here?

thanks.

My motor cuts out after 4 miles?

I have a mountainbike with a rear X-Lyte 5 hub motor. I have six 12V 12ah SLA batteries (72V 12ah total). I recently got a new 40 amp immediate start controller. After about 3.5 to 4 miles of normal hybrid riding, the power suddenly cuts off. I have to wait a few seconds and it kicks back on for a few seconds. It then cuts out, and back on until I get home. This is really strange because even with my old 20amp controller would get me over 10 miles, even up a big long hill. I have pretty new SLA batteries. My voltmeter says all of them are ok.

Overvolting 48V Crystalyte 4840 Hub to 72V

Hey everyone,

I'm working on building an E-bike out of a 20" Trek 850 cro-moly mountain bike. I decided to go with the 4840 Front Crystalyte hub motor.

I am going to buy this Crystalyte controller: 40A(36V-72V) X-5 Controller [CTAL-403672].

Up Go-hub to 48v. What do I need?

Hey everybody,

I just purchased a Go-hub kit from largoscooters. I got the stock 36v setup. I am waiting for shipment, but I'm scared the power won't be enough once I get it. Danny Doris (the owner) told me the 48v setup would produce more power but less range. My main concern is range, but I am used to riding faster, having just sold my Tidalforce.

If I decide to upgrade, what more do I need. I know at least another battery and charger. Do I need a new controller? Motor?

thanks for the help.

Crystalyte 408 hub off center problem

I have a problem with a new crystalyte 408 hub motor. It seem it is off center and when mounted it doesn't clear the linear brake on the left side. In the picture i highlighted the problem area. Is that gap common? Anyone else here have crystalyte hub? Can this be remedy fairly easily or will this have to be taken up with the seller?

Fastest Folding Bike For Electric Bike Conversion? Dahon Matrix or Speed Pro/TT with X-Lyte 5303 +72V Cystalite 40A controller?

I am in the progress of buying a folding bike to go to work. I need something fast in terms of speed & MPH. I'm 170lbs & 37 years old. My current candidate would be either the Dahon Matrix or the Dahon Speed Pro & possibly the Speed Pro TT. Which one do you think is faster? Or are there any faster folding bikes? I will be putting the Phoenix motor from ElectricRider.com (X-Lyte 5303) and possibly using the 72V Cystalite 40A controller. Any suggestions if money is no object? :)

Crystylyte 5302 motor with a 72V 40A controller battery pack needs

:jawdrop:

For a 20 to 40 km range using Crystylyte 5302 rear motor I guess using the dewalt packs what is the easiest and safest configuration?

Please and thanks for all contributions

The reason I ask is that my search has shown that these batteries are being used in a variety of ways including one at a time (switched) as well as p/s configurations bypassing bms and not .

There is not a lot on this new 5000 series motors. In fact I hear a lot of people vote against it because of it's high demands

any thoughts?
