Anyone know anything about the Crystalyte 48V 20A Dual-Speed Motor Speed Controller?

Anyone know anything about the Crystalyte 48V 20A Dual-Speed Motor Speed Controller?
I notice the name Falcon EV on it.

Is this the same Falcon EV with the over crowded site that also are the US distributor for the E-Runner and E-Cruiser electric scooters which are built in China under the ERATO product name and sold at Green Motors in Northern California?

Controller Thoughts and Questions ...

I purchased a Navitas 100-36 controller for my mountain bike conversion. It's rated at 30A continuous and 100A max. It has "current and thermal limiting the unit is fully protected".

Used for: 24V 650W Scott (3/4hp) Permenant Magnet DC Motor rated at 30A.

I don't know what my actual load is with a 10:1 ratio or with the 12.68:1 ratio that I plan on changing it to. (there are just too many variables, weight, temperature, friction, hills etc)

HELP! - Throttle to Controller connection Question ...

Hi,

I've got a Navitas TSP-100-36 controller and a 0-5k Magura Twist throttle with Blue, Brown & Black wires.

NAVITAS CONTROLLER Connections

The Magura Throttle does not specify what color wires are what (actually no information at all)
For some controllers with two leads, I've read that you just twist the Blue and Brown wires together but I'm not sure with the Navitas Controller, since it has 3 connections. Pot+ , Pot- , Gnd

Looking for a 48 - 60 volt brushless hub motor controller

Greetings all,

I'm lookig for a brushless hub motor controller for a 48 - 60 volt system. New or used is ok.

Clarification on controller basics

Admitted I am very new to this game, but I wanted to make sure that what I have gathered so far is correct. Please correct me if I am wrong in how controllers work. A microcontroller creates a variable pulse width modulation signal, that is then fed to the inputs of a simple amplifier circuit. Now if I have this correct, one could theoretically use any microcontroller and simply adjust the power handling abilities of the amplifier for their power needs correct?

A new custom EVT 4000 controller

Hi

I have a 2003 model year EVT4000e scooter with a USA spec governed controller. On looking at the output of this controller, it was only running at 80% duty cycle on the PWM. After investigating different ways of getting around this (dumping voltage into the motor directly, fooling the controller to turn itself on for 100% duty cycle etc.) I decided the best path might be to build a new controller. Since I only pretend to be an electrical engineer, this was an interesting challenge.

newb question, from a amature electrical engineer, and a pro tinkerer

I understand that the way to go in terms of voltage and amp control is pulsewidth modulation. That being said, not only is it expensive, but its just not as much fun to order a solution online and have it sent to your door. I like to buid things.....SO.... here goes the question

Series/Parallel Buddy Wiring...?

:?

I’m developing a new type of electric 6WD ATV and could really use some quick help regarding the series/parallel wiring of the batteries. I have 4 large 12vt deep cycle batteries that I need to wire so as to provide 2 motors controllers (it turns two motors like a skid steer) each with 24 volts. Long ago I printed out a post that was on the old voltage forum but since it was not printed in color I’m now confused by the diagram.

controller for BLDC or PMAC motors...?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a controller that will work with a the motor that is sold as the Brushless Etek? It's a BLDC or PMAC that is the same dimensions as the Etek. The only controller I know of that will work is the Sevcon millipak, but its only 200 amps. Need more juice!!!
any suggestions?
thanks a bunch,
M
