Kleenspeed makes components for electric cars and one way they test the components is by building electric race cars.

Last week they brought their latest build to the Infineon Raceway to test.

The Mitsubishi i is the American name for the iMiev. It's a smallish four seater with fold down rear seats to make a large cargo area. It's pure electric and can easily get up to 132 kms/hr (80 miles/hr) within the space of two exits in Hwy 101 near Santa Rosa CA. Ask me how I know this ;-) ...
