Dual X5's

...will be running two X5's (5302) in the 10" rear wheels of my trike... weight of man and machine about 180kg... and a smooth slimline body (almost model material). Only 48V LFP40AH pack - dual 72V 100A Kelley controllers...

How fast do you think I'll go????

Have you built your bike/trike yet? Would be interested
at how it turns out. Please post a pic.

Re: Dual X5's

yes, trike is built. Making the last few wiring connections to get it running. Has been a no-expense spared project, nothing has been rushed or dodged up... Truly a unique vehicle, and looks good enough to enter into a show. I have ridden it downhill, and it really carves.

Have yet to get Transport to check it over for roadworthy, but I shouldn't have too many problems - the only obsticle being that I have to put a park brake on it somehow... All wheels have hydraulic discs, and can't use hydraulics for park brakes (DOT rules)...

won't post pics right now cause I don't want to get ripped off after the effort I've put in. sorry.

I'll post a link to the television show I'll be on soon... you can see it working then.

Re: Dual X5's

Outstanding news. I would personally put the parking brake on
one of the rear wheels since it has the weight. Why did you not
go with the more spun 5303 or 5304? Are you planning to run
it on only flats with pure speed or is the thinking that you
have two motors/more instant torque and less throttle. I take
it that it will be a two battery system. Nevertheless this
project will rock. Has it dual suspension? Thanks.
