motor stop getting power after a few seconds

I'm pretty sure, and I hope that my problem is a controller, as i really dont want to have to change my motor, as it's strung into a custom tire...

computerized throttle

I put a related post in the forum for e-cycles...it is not completely redundant, however. I want to enable a computer to be the throttle for an electric motor - to connect the computer to where the throttle connects to the controller. Is there any off the shelf way to do this? maybe a not off the shelf way?

DC/DC 3-phase drive needed

My EV conversion project is on hold until I can find a controller for my ETEL DC 3-phase PM 325V motors. I need DC/DC that will work with lithium ion batteries, 325VDC output, peak 33.3 A ,continuous 3.59 A, 10.8KWmax, 1.17 KW cont, regen and reverse option. I'm using four motors and would like to use one controller, but 4 if needed.

Is there something out there that will work? I saw in one forum that you could hook up DC input into a drive set up for AC input?

JC-116 Controller from TNC Scooters

I'm building my first electric trike. I bought the JC-116 Controller and throttle from TNC Scooter. The wiring diagram that came with the controller doesn't show a connector for connecting the throttle. The connectors on the controller are labeled: Power; Motor; Lock; Derailler; Charger; Brake; Battery Indicator; and Tail Light.
So how do you connect the throttle?

Is the brake a switch?

I assume the tail light comes on when you apply brake.

Regenerative braking limits

If a forum already exists for this, please let me know. Don't mean to repeat questions or concerns.
Concern: a brushless, permanent magnet wheel (hub) motor attached to free wheel rear axle.
Battery fully charged to begin with.
From the top of a long hill (mountain like peak), the car goes downhill by gravity WITH THE THROTTLE AT ZERO
ACCELERATION and reaches a speed (say) of 70 mph. -
The motor, then, is acting like a generator (for example, as in regenerative braking). -

Boost converter 3.3v to 36V??

Ive just been given a spare 100ahr Lifepo4 cell, so neat, and can do 3C (300amps)

Just thinking I could use just one to drive my 200w scooter if I could get a 10x Boost converter to convert the voltage up to 36v at the expense of the amps dropping - 25amps will be more than enough.

Does anyone know where I could source something like this?

Using one large cell and boosting would save balancing pack problems, Ive searched for something like this in the past but never seen anything that can output more than 2amps!

Review: Lyen Edition 72V Controller

I've spent the last couple of weeks getting myself up and running with one of Lyen's famed controllers. I've detailed my experiences in my blog/upgrade guide for the benefit of anyone else who might be considering getting this or any other quality controller.
