what size battery do I match up to increase the AH

Here's the problem I have a 24v/10AH lithium and a 48v/20AH battery I need enough battery to run a 7240 Crystalyte front hub motor . Should I get another 48 v 20 AH battery and put it in parrellel with the 24v and the 48v battery that are connected in series ? Or can I put a 24v 20 Ah battery in parrellel instead , my fear is that the smaller of the two choices of battery will not do the trick of running the electric motor.

Please help me set up a bike for a cross country trip

Aloha,
Hi everyone,

I am planning a second cross country bike ride, and this time I want to do it with pedal assist (and promote e-bikes).

I have the bike and trailer. I need to find the correct kit and battery set-up.

My last trip I pulled about a 100 pounds of gear with me (don't ask-haha) so am not (that) afraid of running out of juice, but would rather be properly set up. I am planning on 60 mile days, but have already found one 80 mile stretch between towns.

Crystalyte NiMH battery conditioner?

My battery no longer likes to take a full charge. Sometimes it will quit in less than a minute, other times it will charge the full 2+ hours without interruption. Usually it takes a few tries before it takes a full charge. The battery has taken me over 3,000 miles and 300 charge-discharge cycles.

building a mobile regeneration solar charger for my batteries using a crystalite 7240 front hub motor

I am thinking of using a BOB YAK trailer , enclosing it and putting VW 24v 5amp solar battery chargers together to equeal 72v 40 amps and parrellel connect the panels to the battery and then to the motor to extend my range. I also have a Golden Eagel 40cc engine at this time that has enought power to pull me and the trailer at between 22 to 33 mph and take some of the hill here ,but I want to reduce the amount of gas by supplementing half the power load with the frount hub Crystalite and be chargeing my batteries while using them to help with the hills.

LifePo4 charger question

I finally joined the 21st century and got a 48V 10ah LifePo4 pack. I am using it with a road runner front hub motor and a 48V 25amp controller. It is really nice. I used to ride around with 72V SLA and a rear X5 beast. It was too much. Now I feel much more nimble and I don't think I have sacrificed anything for speed with my new set up.

Anyhoo, I have no idea how to know when the charger is done charging? The 48V LifePo4 charger has a red and green light which are ALWAYS ON. And it has a fan which is ALWAYS BLOWING. Can anyone suggest any bit of knowledge in this respect?
