Need help on Phoenix cruiser bike problem

How did you connect the controller to your battery pack?

I'm just curious. I bought my Pedal-First 20 amp controller from ebikes.ca and the given battery connector was an Anderson PowerPole but I had trouble finding a connector for it locally(And the shipping time from Canada to where I live is a week, so I didn't order the appropriate connectors from them once I discovered I needed one.), and my failed attempt at purchasing one online(Apparently the controller doesn't use a 75 amp PowerPole) pushed me to cutting the Andersons off and attaching ring terminals which I then integrated into my circuit. What did other people do?

LiFePO4 powered Phoenix Cruiser bike

Well, after fooling around with two big electric scooters (both Evaders), I put together a Phoenix Cruiser bike powered by a 48V 20AH LiFePO4 battery pack I bought some time ago from YESA. I used a $50 bike from WalMart (a Roadmaster "Mt. Fury" mountain bike) and the whole project came together very easily. I must say that I am very impressed with the range and performance of this combination. Range appears to be somewhere around 40 miles without pedaling under normal conditions and maximum speed is about 30 mph.

Yet another n00b setup question

I'm about 200 pounds, and I commute 20 miles to work each way. There are some hills, but they're not too bad. I can take the hills under my own power, it's just slow. I want to speed up my commute and make the uphill sections faster and easier.

I am considering adding a Roadrunner 4820 to my bike, powered by a Yesu LiFePo4 48V 10Ah battery. From what I read, this battery should take me 10-15 miles without any pedaling at all, and I like pedaling. I am fine pedaling the whole way, I just want to speed things up.

60miles at 30mph - Possible?

I'm really not familiar with Crystallite systems but was wondering if anyone can recommend a system that will take me 56 miles minimum at an average speed of 30mph?

Thanks in advance.

Phoenix 5503 Hub - How do I open and where do I get parts?

It seems that one of my hall-effect sensor wires inside the hub has come loose, but I am leary of opening the Hub as I have no experience in this [I have an electronics background]. Could someone instruct me on how to open the Hub and any precautions I might need? The hub also happens to have a noisy bearing and I would like to replace it. Does anyone know where I might be able to get parts for this model? There is an electric bicycle shop near where I live but they are unfamiliar with the Phoenix 5503 - In Canada they only have the much smaller versions...

New Crystalyte 406 motor with 36v20a controller; will the following battery configs work?

Hi! I just joined this site and I gotta say I’m happy I found the place!

My details:

I just picked up a Crystalyte 406 and a 36V 20A Start Immediate Brushless Controller from ebikes.ca (parts C3620SI and M406F26), but haven't got batteries yet. I’ll be using this mainly as a commuter bike.

My commute is about 12 miles round trip, and I could recharge at work if the system can handle the extra cycles. I prefer a safe and leisurely ride, so I am very happy with max speeds of 10-15mph; I wont go over 20mph.

Overvolt Crystalyte

Have you ever overvolted a Crystalyte system? If so, by how much and what was your setup? Also, how fast did you end up going afterwards?
