I am looking to wire the fans on my Z20a so that they are on anytime the ignition is turned on in an effort to help keep the controller cool during operation in the hot weather. Has anyone done this on their bike?

Sorry about this question, but I can't seem to find a simple explanation anywhere, but that's probably because it's so simple nobody has thought to post an explanation. Anyway, I've never owned a motorcycle/scooter, so I've never had to remove a tire from one. How do you remove the front tire?
Thanks

Hello,
As noted in another topic, I finally have a Z-20 that has worked for more than 24 hours. It's been a fun getting to finally drive it around, but there are a few issues that I'm coming up against now that I have some real road use tests.
1. The speedometer (and, hence, odometer) have broken. They don't move at all anymore.

My blinker's burned out. I've replaced two bulbs (front and rear). They now light. But when I switch on the blinker (either left or right) the lights turn on but don't blink.
I've got the "harness" diagram. But I can't tell what the blinker looks like or where it would be mounted on the bike.
Can anyone help me out on this?
Thanks.

I installed a bike trip meter (Cat Eye Velo 5) on my scooter. I cant remember what I set for the tire size, but I checked out the speed with a gps and I was only about .5 mph higher at 38mph.
With this meter I get about 41.5mph on level ground. So about 41mph adjusted. What is everyone else seeing?

Glad I found this forum. Thought I was all alone. Rode Z-20 for a few blocks, then, after a pause, throttle died, though horn and lights worked. A minute or so later it came back on. This happened twice. On parking stand motor ran fine. Following Andy's instructions, I took of front plastic and checked wires. Then rear same. Then received new controller which I installed. Then nothing. No motor at all even on parking stand. Horn and lights fine. Awaiting further instructions.

Does anyone know how to open the rear turn signal case on a a Z-20? ie, if you need to replace one of the turn signal bulbs. Its a hard plastic top, fitting into a hard plastic bottom, and I can't find any way to get it open.
Thanks
Jim

Had anyone taken apart the 'dash' on a Z-20 to access the face of the speedometer?
Any suggestions on how to access it?
Thanks
Jim

I had an opportunity to try to assist a fellow EV owner the other day.
When we tried to put his Z20A on the Center Stand, it went past the stops.
You should inspect the stand and the stops and ensure everything is correct.
