group hug is needed, needing brotherly love, reading so problems, VX-1 sadness

After reading everyone talking about all the hidden problems, bad designs, no help from any dealerships,.....I really need a hug from the group! I have this GREAT machine, TONS O' FUN! at 650 miles, still has that new wrapper smell(well, not really)...a total great machine.Tell me, anyone, was this purchase something that should have not been done by someone that has no money for repairs, no dealership that even knows how to look at a leaky rear brake-line(me), and by all the blogs, the batteries will be done and gone soon leaving me with a cool looking pet-rock.
give me some insite into what is coming down the road as in new power, new Vectrix backing in all the charterMember owners.

Andy seems to be doing well keeping his bike alive. I think following his advice is probably the best advice I can give you.

Keep in mind that there are something like 2000 of these in the wild and only a few reports here of failures and reports here of some descent km done too. If you aren't in hot climate, and follow andy's lead, I think you'll probably be ok
