I have been using (abusing?) Thundersky batteries since 2006.
My first pack was 15 x 40Ah LiFePO4 cells (2006 production date)
continuous discharge rate was 55A (needed to maintain 70kmh), with peaks to 200A during acceleration.
they lasted ~500 cycles until capacity was 60% of original.
that was 22'000km or 7 times more than the lead acid battery it replaced.
my second pack is 45 x 90Ah (2007 production date).
As my car is not yet complete, they have seen very few cycles.
they still give exactly 90Ah at 30A discharge rate.
shelf life definately isn't an issue here.
my third pack is 44 x 60Ah (2010 production date)
continuous discharge is between 30A and 90A depending on speed.
max discharge is 200A.
I have done 5000 km so far, I will report back when I can measure actual capacity on the bench.

Let me know what I can ge them for....
I will be using it on a dual motor setup on my Electric Chopper Bike!
I currently run 2 - 36v 20ah lifepo's and would love to fo 1-100ah batt

The cells will go into a battery box with dimensions of 22" x 18" x 18"

Oh! You are lucky. I have another client who is live in Florida. Do you need it urgently?
We can transport your cell with him, so that the transport cost is lower. If your battery transport with this client, your battery will be arrive your home after 2 month. Total cost: US$1,690. Some things about this conversation doesn´t feel right, f.ex. never heard of a business discussion in an open forum and that Thunder-Sky themselves going out publicly looking for customers...

Can you confirm he is legit?
[Edit - It did seem strange but with all the hype for a big WEVA symposium, weird marketing can occur. If they can get some good anecdotes for their presentations they love that sort of thing. I hope the strong grass roots support continues after the symposium/trade fair]
