got more range from my vectrix scooter....

just managed to get range of 40.6 miles / 65.34 kilometers. out of my vectrix scooter....
not long had my scooter back from vectrix versos faults but all rectified very quickly and had a replacement what move can i say but well done. would of been nice to have had a report of all the work they did in detail !! can't fault they all work carryed out under warrinty probbley cost a bomb if warranty had run out ?? my scooter could only manage 31 miles that's with the faults that it had . but all replaced seems to have new fans as they sound smoother and seem to suck more but i could be wrong ?? and new batteries and new sensors and new software fitted just had its second proper discharge and i managed 40.6 miles / 60.34 KM that's two runs in one day from one charge ..!!! and the weather was freezing and the roads was wet and it was blizzeds / snowing and various hills speeds approx 30 to 40 mph some stop start traffic i am doing a charge now but with an hour delay built into the soft ware as i want to look after the batteries as much as possible and lets see if next time i get better range again it seems to be going up slowly watch this space.

hi. all just got back yesterday after going all over the place .went diffrent way and you wont belive it but i
got back with range of 40.6 miles it this an omen or what as the same as the milage the day before right i was avraging speeds of 35 mph ..
so slowest speeds was 25 mph for little wile but stuck to 35 mph but the top speed i got up to 43 mph and was little bit on the widy side aswell and roads was wet and
was snowing 60% of the time and the steepest gradient was about 10% up hill think these was the steepest on but pardon the pun the down side was 17% what a mama !!
serious regen man but carfull does it as this is my bit of expensive kit so slowley slowley catch the monkey.
there was to be truthfull verius ups and downs i/e hills as i was out in the countrey side testing range of my vectrix and genrally having a good time .
i have got to say untill you have had an electric scooter you will not know but that cool breez on ya face and that silent running and that sence of achevement
and the eco side in one little package makes me feel warm inside the down side as with all thing . is the range .!! as i have been riding scooter for over 24 years and aprox electric scooters for 6 years and have seen the range go from 28 miles to 60 miles with my e-max110s last year and really with my feather like control i think that if i would of got a sunny day and just charged up the emax and been on the level think i may of squized out of the blue perrel urm 65/ouch 70 may be bit much but these last two figures would have to be on the flat .!!
not bat no lithion or that stuff they put in the vectrix urm nikmet hydrid gud old gel acid..
well on my travels i took the liberty of taking some pikeys hope you like them .don't know how to down load the pictures ?????????????
by way i wonda what milage i will get as i have done my self three propper discharges will the range increase from 40 miles
i know the was lots of veriants but with the figures it doesn't seem to stack up as i did lots of free wheeling regen too but overrell my avrage was 35 mph
lets hope that with the vectrix that on a sunny day on the flat if i try to stick to 30 mph not that dangerous 25 mph i can acheve the world real world record think its is 57 miles ?? but i really would be suprised if i could manage 50 miles but the vectrix might suprise me and have some thing up its sleeve ???

Am I reading correctly that you also had to get a new battery? My Vectrix has been in the shop for a month - they told me it takes up to 6 weeks to replace the battery. How long did it take them to change your battery?

hi mr flyer. i had replacmet vectrix to use and when received my vectrix back after just under two weeks. and when i asked them what had hapend to the cells they said that they had .
replaced all the cells to new ones and new software fitted. and think they have put new sensors aswell. and fans i think have been changed as sound much quieter and may be more powerful
and suck more and notice that as well as sucking air in the front vents notice that some air is blowing from the middle just above the mud gaurd aprox 6"/9" dont no why this is but a guess that new fan fitted to charger ?????
all in all range is better and hope to get some really good range had 40.6 miles twice but shour that must be able to go to 50+ miles ?? watch this space .hope this has halped .kev ps good luck kev.
