I have the hot pink XB 500 Extreme bike and it lost its power I guess I need to find a way to get to the fuses and change them right? Tonya

You are right, fuses are always the first stop with any electrical problem.

Be warned...many of the affordable "entry level" electric vehicles designed for the youth market have components that are just barely adequate. Motors and controllers get pretty warm on accelleration and hill-climbing, but if your ride is 90% cruising on level ground, the motor/controller have a chance to cool off.

If the motor/controller is really warm and you ride up an especially long hill, it may overheat some part. If you have a neighbor friend with the same XB-500, you might ask if you could swap controllers for a moment.

Ok my problem is fixed.......... I had loss of all power after hitting bump in the road, I went to go turn and lost all power and pushed bike home. So last night a guy friend of mine came to look at it. He took all screws out of the battery compartment area looked at the battery connections they were fine, then he tried taking the battery compartment out of the boxed area he gave it a small tug and it came out, although when he did that we noticed the battery pack had one main plug in. When he pulled he unpluged this main black power cord, the ONLY main black power cord that goes to the battiery. He then said "maybe the power cord was loose." He then put the battery box back into its place, put on all screws in then reached around the right side of the bike behind the battery compartment plugged in the main power cord to the battery and made sure it was in all the way. I turned bike on and everything worked. :) I have had no problems with controllers just yet.
