Re: 2009 XM-3500 A Bit DIfferent & A XM-3000 CLONE??

Note how the throttle fits snug against the light switch on the topmotorx and note the 5/8" gap on the XM as the parts are mismatched and will not go together as intended. They are two different throttle controls.

This eliminates any confusion I may have had. One may look like a duck, walk like a duck and quack like a duck, but is it a duck?
A lot of this "manufacturing" appears to be Ultimate "LEGO". When I see some pictures of plastic beads going in and molded parts coming out, of tubing being bent and welded and aluminum castings being machined, I'll begin to understand the ornamental definition of "manufacturing". For those who are old enough, it used to be called "Tinker Toys". Most of the body parts on the Topomotorx and the XM look interchangeable? XM is a good start, but there is a long way to go before anyone will be confusing this quality with Honda.

Kevin;
I will guess 3 packs of 20 cells, 60 cells total. One pack (20) will take you 60 miles, but 2 won't take you 120 miles because you have to carry the weight of the extra pack. With 3 packs, you will need a trailer to haul the extra weight. Better get a kite sail and wait for a favorable wind. I'll loan you my 600W Honda genset, and you might just make it?
