Having so many eXtreme scooters and having all my bikes fail the DC-DC I figure something must be wrong in design or some thing. I am back to using a small 12 volt battery for head lights and brakes. I know eBay is only a 7 to 10 day sale at any given time so I got tired of charging separate battery and going back to a converter again. I wrote a number of sellers and got a reply for a 60 volt unit a the lowest price or $29.95 or something like that. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120564279992&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
The shipping does drop a tad bit on larger orders but I want to keep it simple for now and pass this info on even though it will be short lived.

I´m quite sure this is from the same manufacturer: http://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=81
Bought this a year ago for my 72V XM-3500, still working perfectly.
There are some benefits buying locally, trade deficit etc. ;-)
Hi , I found that un-isolated (3wire) converters risk shorting between both the 12V and the higher volt system , is greater than if you use (4wire) isolated converters for the 12V system ! just a word of advice . Later
thank GOD I wake up above ground !!!!
