Hi,
My English is not good, so I use google translator
I hope you realize.
I bought a Vectrix Li + 42 ah with damaged battery pack.
I handed it to Jorge Rocha, Aveiro, Portugal to install a new pack.
He installed a Calb battery pack 60 ah. There are 40 batteries that give a total 7680 w
Cells are Calb of CA60FI (3,20V / 60Ah) and the same number of cells in series to the original (40S). BMS is the same without changes.

Do you still have the original Cells? Are you interested in selling them and do you know which ones are OK and which are not OK?
What was the price you paid for this conversion?
ALTHOUGH I prefer the nissian leaf cells I think this is a very nice conversion.
Pictures, not only worth a thousand words, but they are in a universal language. So much nicer than trying to read a google translate version of what was done.

Thank you for posting.
As I already told you in the vectrix's whatsapp group, I find this conversion very inspiring, specially the way the BMS is set.
Do you get 150 km of range?
Nicely done!
Great job!!!!
Congratulations!!
The pack now owned by Jorge Rocha, but virtually all cells have a capacity of 28 ah. I do not think should interest you.
The price for this conversion is around 4,500 eur.

I did "only" 123 km in one go. At that time, a rather steep ascent had 125 pack voltage V and the lowest cell had 3:07 V. I think it took to get to 150 km whith some caution because the tension in flat road back to 129-128 V and the lowest cell 3,20V

Hello everyone.
At this time, with about 20 complete cycles, the cells must be near to 65Ah, which will to overcome the 8KWh (65Ah X 3,20V X 40S = 8320Wh), making exceeds 150 km of range (65Km / h average speed).
All for a more ecological world!
This grey Calb CA Cells habe been tested several times now and seem to have good Specs.
I'm a bit worried about the selfmade ? cell connectors which will in my opinion let not room for thermal expansion for the cells against the connectors. But the cells are not compressed with a fastener Strap together ? so nothing should happen.
greetings
Klaus
who made the conversion has a great experience. I believe that the job is well done. There was skepticism in choosing these Calb . But for now, at the end of 2500 km , it's okay . The ambient temperature is gradually rising. With the thermal insulation Jorge Rocha applied not see differences between room temperature and the temperature of the batteries. It is good sign.

Hello!
Only those who do not understand deeply about this type of batteries with this chemical, think have to swell.
This is a symptom that something was not right, and will not give good health, even if they are too tight.
Within the recommended operating voltage, 2,70V to 3,60V, and recommended rated currents close to optimal (0.5c), it will never happen.
Its distance between cells is more than enough to ensure any expansion, without the copper connectors make some force on cells.
All for a more ecological world!
7 000 km with this Calb baterries. Everething ok at this moment.

Great, J! The plastic layer protecting the BMS is working perfectly!
in my opinion, Everybody using the original vectrix BMS should use a configuration like this to keep the BMS boards safe from the cells.
"BUMP"
I don't understand...

HI FRIEND,this is what you do when you want to bring someones thread up to the front you say"BUMP", I was trying to help someone who need help on your type conversion.
