Navigating Multi-Page Topics

Now, one has to scroll all the way to the bottom of each
long page to get to the 1,2,3,4,5 ... prev, next links.

Can (should) they be put at the top of the page also?
I thought that they used to be at both the top and bottom.

Thanks, Gary

Re: Navigating Multi-Page Topics

If you're talking about ChasS, well, I'm the one who maintains the software, not him. Anyway I don't remember it having navigation links at the top as well as the bottom. It must have been so because you remember it that way ;-) however ...

I've been planning to explore using the Advanced Forum module with this site to see whether that would help usability.

FWIW My route to dealing with long threads is to not go into them once they're past 150 comments. I'm not groking the value of long threads but obviously forum participants all over the Internet do use long forum threads.
